Hey! A lot has gone on this week. First I was able to go and visit Copan. It was very cool. I was able to visit the school that George and Kara went to when they were learning Spanish. I got to meet their teachers and I even got to meet Kara’s teacher’s daughter. It was awesome being able to go and see all the things I heard from George and Kara’s blog (http://declare-his-glory.blogspot.com). I got to go and visit the ruins too, this was an awesome experience. Not only was I able to see something cool, but I also learned a lot about the culture of Honduras. I learned about some of their history and I learned a lot about people who still follow Mayan practices and religions. It is really important that I put forth an effort to try and learn things about the people of Honduras things like their culture, history, and language. We stayed for a night and then came back to the property.
Saturday I went to a church in yamaragea (I spelled that completely wrong) and I got to attend a fellowship for women. It was fun we played games, read from God’s word, and prayed for each other. I got to meet a lot of new people and I made new friends. Sunday we went to church and we learned about how the touch of Jesus is powerful both physically and spiritually. Sunday we were able to attend the Spanish version of “Heaven’s Gates and Hell’s Flames”. They did this play for one weekend and over 150 people received Christ into their lives!!!!!!!!!!
This week at school the kids learned numbers 1-20 and colors. They caught on really quick. These kids are super smart!! The youth team is going to be able to visit the school so I’m really excited about that. Continue to pray for the kids and NoĆ« (the teacher, his name is pronounced like Noah). Next week we are going to learn greetings and goodbyes. God is defiantly working things out for us in this school. Please pray that he continues to do so!
I know you guys are praying for this ministry and for all of us here on the property, I know because I can tell and I am extremely thankful for that!! Pray that God will us all of us in any way that he sees fit!!!
Love you guys!

Second at church on Sunday a team from the United States was there at Mr. Keith and Mrs. Joanna’s property so one of the guys from the team gave the gospel message. It was really powerful! They had music before the sermon this week. It was kind of weird singing in Spanish at first but it was a lot of fun and I think I got a hand at it, we sang I am a friend of God and Ancient of days. The other night there was a cow either giving birth or dying but either way it was crazy having to go to sleep to that! I went back to school yesterday and I was able to teach! It was pretty scary but George was there to help me with the Spanish parts. I made a chart of the alphabet called “Alfabeto de Ingles” It had all the letters of the alphabet, an English word that started with the same letter, and a Spanish equivalent of the English word. We pretty much just worked through the chart and sang the alphabet song a lot! It went really good thanks to all of your prayers! Thank you I needed it! Right now I am in Copan. We are spending the night here. This Saturday I will be able to go to a women’s meeting with Norma and Kara. It is where all the women of the community come together and fellowship. I am pretty excited!
Love you guys and miss you!

¡¡¡¡¡Week Two!!!!!
This week we do not have a team with us, so on Sunday I was able to go to church at George and Kara's friends property. It was a really good service. We learned about being cheerful when you give your offering or tithe. The missionaries who live at the property are Keith and Joanna. They are very nice! They invited us all to dinner at their house on Wednesday night.
Monday we were able to go to La Esperanza and get more things that we needed and some groceries. I was able to get chocolate milk in a bag!! When we got back we straighten up around the dorms. Sweeping and such.

Also this week I was able to go to the school that I am going to be teaching. It is about 40 minutes from the property. There is one teacher and he has 25 students. They are all different ages. They all seemed super sweet and I am super excited to get to know them better. We decided that I am going to teach every Monday at nine for about an hour. Then after that I will just stay and help out anyway I can. I am going to teach them basic english. Things like colors, the alphabet, numbers and basic phrases. PLEASE be in prayer for this!!! It will be a great way for me to witness to the students and the teacher.
Love you guys

Week One
Week One:
Today is Saturday June 12. Yesterday the men's team left to head back to the states. This first week has been very eventful! The men completed an entire church in just three days and they were even able to go to the first service in it. It looked pretty snazzy. All the guys did great and they all worked really hard!
What did I do this week you ask? Well, I was able to help Norma, Kara , Mrs. Nancy, and Caca with cooking lunch and dinner for the men. I think Icut around 300 pounds of carrots. We also were able to paint the entire common room. It is a lovely shade of green. Also I was able to go shopping in La Esperanaza for food for the meals. I even got to go to the market and order some tomatoes all by myself. It was pretty exciting. I got settled in the room and I am very thankful to have a place where I can stay and be around amazing people who love the Lord.
God is definitely working in Honduras and I ask you to pray for the people here. There is a great need for Christ here. God has placed people here who are hungering after him; we just need to be in constant prayer for them.
The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quite you with his love; he will exult over you with loud singing. Zephaniah 3:5
Oh and it has rained here everyday so far.
I love and miss you guys!,
